Product description
Panasonic 4464 is an addressable expansion board with two voltage outputs, installed inside the 4466 external power supply. The board receives a 24 V DC supply from the power supply and is protected against loop short circuits by the short-circuit isolator of the power supply. Up to two expansion boards can be installed in one power supply.
Outputs VO0 and VO1 are programmable 24 V DC alarm device outputs. When supervised, they detect short circuits and open circuits in accordance with EN 54-13 when the 4472 end-of-line device is installed at the end of the line; no calibration is required. Output VO2 is intended for closing fire doors: it is controlled by a control expression, and it cuts the voltage approximately 30 seconds after a mains failure or loss of loop communication. Relay contact RE2 (2 A 30 V DC) is controlled at the same time. General-purpose input IN0 can monitor fire door closure, for example. Each output is max. 1 A, with a total of max. 2 A; with simplified 10 kΩ supervision an output can be 2 A, but EN 54-13 is then not met.
