Panasonic 5094 is the EBLWin key, or dongle, required for using EBLWin, the commissioning and service software for Panasonic EBL fire alarm systems. The key protects the system so that the panels can only be programmed by an authorised installer or service company.

EBLWin is a Windows program (Windows 10 or later) for programming EBL512 G3 and EBLOne fire alarm control panels, gateways and the network between panels. The software supports both manual and automatic addressing and automatically calculates loop lengths and the required capacity of the standby batteries. Graphical loop scanning identifies all devices connected to the loop, and the graphical loop check verifies that the programming matches the installation. The same key is also required for the EBLsniffer software used with the wireless system planning tool 4613.

Use

The key is plugged into the computer on which EBLWin is used on site or during servicing. The required EBLWin version depends on the site’s system and its software version. For example, the first two digits of the EBLWeb software version of the 5088 gateway must match the EBLWin version used.
