FBR-Serial-2 (SM / SC) is a single-mode (SM), rugged, industrial-grade, multi-function RS232 / RS422 / RS485 fiber optic converter that supports asynchronous RS232 / RS422 / RS485 communication over point-to-point fiber optic connections. FBR-Serial-2 operates in pairs (point-to-point) and utilizes a fiber optic network that is inherently immune to radio and electrical interference, such as EMI/RFI, lightning strikes, transient spikes, and ground loops.
