Product description
SSD 31 is a Securiton smoke sensor for use in ASD 531 aspirating smoke detectors. It is pre-installed in the ASD 531 and also available as a spare part. The sensor’s alarm sensitivity is 0.02–10 %/m and the pre-signal sensitivity 0.006–7 %/m.
According to the manufacturer, the sensor uses a high-power LED, an LVSC smoke chamber and a lint filter. Its three pre-signals are fixed at 30, 50 and 70% of the alarm threshold.
