Product description
Panasonic 4383 is an addressable light indicator that is installed between an analogue detector base and the detector. It is intended to supplement sounders: eight red LEDs in a transparent ABS housing give a light signal that is visible through 360° horizontally. The beacon base is intended for dry indoor premises.
The beacon base is fitted to analogue base 3312, 3312F, 3312FL or 4313 or to base sounder 3379, and the detector is installed on top of it. The COM loop and any external indicator are connected to the base, so the beacon base needs no cabling of its own. It does, however, have its own COM loop address, which must not be the same as that of the detector in the base, and its activation is programmed in the fire alarm control panel. The flash frequency is 1 Hz, and the current consumption is 1.5 mA in the quiescent state and 3.5 mA in alarm, so the beacon base places only a small load on the loop.
Compatibility and installation
- The address 001–253 and the operating mode are set with the 4414 address setting tool before connection to the loop
- NORMAL mode: EBL512 G3, EBL128, EBL512, EBLOne and United system (configured as type 4380)
