Product description
Panasonic 3379W is a white addressable base sounder consisting of an analogue mounting base combined with a sounder. A Panasonic analogue detector is installed in the base, so the alarm sound is provided in the same room as the detector. The product is intended for dry indoor areas and is suitable for EBL512 G3 and EBL128 systems.
The base sounder has three priority levels (high, medium and low), each programmed in EBLWin with its own control expression and tone type. For example, a fire alarm elsewhere in the building can give one tone, an alarm on the same floor another, and an alarm from the base’s own detector a third. A higher-priority condition changes the tone automatically. The options are a continuous tone, a 1 Hz intermittent tone and a 3 Hz intermittent tone.
One external indicator, for example the 2218 remote indicator, can be connected to the base via screw terminals E+ and E−.
Installation
- Ceiling mounting, fixing screws not included
- The address (001–253) and operating mode are set with the 4414 address setting tool before connecting to the loop
- The detector in the base must have a different address from the base sounder
- Without a detector, the base is protected with the 3313 cover
- Conductor size Ø 0.6–1.2 mm (0.28–1.13 mm²)
