Product description
SF-SMS31WD020D-GP is an SFP module for connecting PAVA devices and network switches to single-mode fibre. According to Panasonic, single-mode fibre is suitable for long links between buildings or remote equipment rooms, for example in large or distributed PAVA systems.
The module uses WDM technology: transmission and reception take place on the same fibre. The module transmits at a wavelength of 1310 nm and receives at 1550 nm, so the matching module at the other end of the link is SF-SMS55WD020D-GP, which works the other way round. The data rate is 1.25 Gbit/s. The connector is SC and the range 20 km. The module has DDM diagnostics. SFP slots are found in the GS110TP network switch, in PAVA panels equipped with the N network card and in the PAVA-DFMS fire brigade microphone station.
