Product description
Panasonic 4614 is a wireless manual call point connected to an addressable EBL fire alarm system (EBL128, EBLOne or EBL512 G3) via base unit 4620. It suits buildings where cables are difficult to conceal, as well as extensions to existing systems.
The call point is indirect-acting (type B): the glass is broken and the button is then pressed, sending a fire alarm to the control panel. After the alarm, the control panel lights the call point indicator. Inside the call point is a switch that gives a fault signal to the control panel if the cover is opened. The device is powered by two 3 V lithium batteries 4612 with a service life of about six years in normal use. A drop in battery voltage gives a fault signal to the control panel.
Installation and compatibility
Each call point uses one COM loop address, and a maximum of 16 wireless units can be connected to one base unit. One COM loop can have a maximum of four base units. The address and transmission channel are set with DIL switches, and the call point is registered to the base unit close to the installation site. The signal quality can be checked with the wireless network planning tool 4613. The call point is intended for dry indoor premises. Spare glasses 4435 (10 pcs) and key 4436 are available as accessories.
