Product description
Panasonic 3379W is a white addressable base sounder consisting of an analogue mounting base combined with a sounder. It suits sites where an alarm device is needed in the same room as the detector. An analogue detector can be installed in the base, and the base is connected directly to the COM loop. The device is intended for dry indoor premises.
The sounder has three tone types (continuous, and 1 Hz and 3 Hz intermittent), which can be assigned to three priority levels. For example, a fire alarm elsewhere in the building can give one tone, an alarm on the same floor another, and an alarm from the base’s own detector a third. If a higher-priority control condition is fulfilled, the tone changes. The control conditions and tones are programmed with EBLWin.
Installation
The base is mounted on the ceiling, and an external indicator (for example 2218) can be connected to its screw terminals. The base sounder and the detector installed in it must have different COM loop addresses. The address and mode are set with an address setting tool before connection to the loop. The device works with EBL512 G3 and EBL128 control panels. When used without a detector, the base is protected with cover 3313.
TVK version
According to the product information, the TVK version has extra terminals for the emergency lighting power supply. This allows the 24 V emergency lighting supply line to be routed through the device along the same route as the COM loop, for example when MX emergency luminaires and exit signs are used.
