Product description

Panasonic 4434 is a test key for manual call points, used for testing and maintaining Panasonic addressable manual call points 4433 and 4439 and the equivalent models 3333 and 3339. The pack contains 10 keys.

During periodic testing, the key is inserted into the hole in the front cover of the call point. The position of the glass element changes, so the call point operates as if activated and the control panel receives a fire alarm. Once the call point indicator has lit up, the key is withdrawn and the glass returns to its normal position. Finally, the fire alarm is reset at the fire alarm control panel, which also switches off the call point indicator, and the call point is ready for use again. The glass therefore does not need to be broken for testing.

Installation and maintenance

The key is also used to remove the front cover of the call point: the two pins of the key are pressed into the holes in the lower edge of the front cover, which releases the front cover from the black body of the call point. The front cover is removed when the call point is installed and when a broken glass element is replaced. Before the glass is replaced, the call point must be disabled at the control panel.
