Product description
Panasonic 4433 is an addressable manual call point with a built-in short-circuit isolator. A fire alarm is raised manually by pressing the glass element until it breaks, and the fire alarm control panel then receives a fire alarm. The call point is intended for indoor use in dry premises; for damp premises and outdoors, the enclosed IP66 model 4439 is suitable.
Accidental activation is prevented by a transparent polycarbonate protective flap, which must be lifted before the glass element is pressed. The call point indicator flashes to show communication with the control panel (flashing can be disabled in EBLWin) and is lit continuously when the call point has triggered an alarm. Periodic testing is carried out with a test key: when the key is inserted into the hole in the front cover, the call point operates as if activated, and after the key is removed the alarm is reset at the control panel.
Installation
The call point is mounted on the wall in a red back box prepared for cable entry from the rear. For surface mounting, cable entries can be drilled in the top or bottom of the back box (max. Ø 20 mm). The connection conductor size is 0.5–2 mm².
Every device on the COM loop must have a unique address (001–253). The address can be set automatically with EBLWin or manually with address setting tool 4414/4414E before the device is connected to the loop. The call point works with EBL512 G3, EBLOne and EBL128 control panels; the short-circuit isolator is in use in NORMAL mode.
