This year the PAP Days were held at Eerikkilä Sports Academy in Tammela on 13.9.2024. Eerikkilä was a good choice for the PAP Days, as it offered a great opportunity for our large group to meet, stay, eat, spend the evening and sauna together.
The basic idea behind PAP Days has always been to bring all the staff together in one place. This is a good opportunity to make your voice heard and to share your ideas and thoughts with PAPs from other places. After a shared breakfast, we started the meeting with a discussion on current issues both within the PAP Group and across the industry. One of the big themes was safety at work, the importance of which cannot be overemphasised. The presentations included ideas for development, reminders of existing practices and new approaches. A small revelation: one of the new features presented was the RMA form, which will also be available to our partners at some point in the future.
After the meeting, we put on our sports clothes and headed to the sports field. We got to test whose team was the best in archery, playful relay and pantomime.
After the Robin Hood competitions, the evening continued with a sauna and socialising. As the PAPs are spread all over Finland, it is great that everyone can get to know each other in a more relaxed atmosphere. The evening also included dinner and the announcement of the PAP of the Year. This year, the votes had been split evenly between many employees, so it was decided to recognise more people for their good work.
In total, five people were awarded the PAP of the Year title. Congratulations:

All in all, the PAP Days were another success. Everybody had a great time and we are encouraged to work again on fire safety in buildings as a better PAP Team than ever.
