PAP Days has become a traditional early summer event, where all PAPs from all over Finland gather at the same address to hear about the company and refresh themselves.
This year the PAP Days were held in a wonderfully rustic setting in Billnäs Ruuk, Raasepori. The owner of the place told us that Billnäs Ruukki is one of the first ironworks in Finland and started its operation in 1641. Today, Billnäs Ruukki offers accommodation and restaurant services, as well as an inspiring environment for various events, meetings and parties.
The PAP Days traditionally included presentations on what is happening in the company; what has been successful in recent years, what we expect from the future and how we can make our operations even more efficient and better. The presentations and group work generated good discussion. After a break of a few years, the old hands and newcomers alike got on well. Because of the corona, the last PAP Days were held in 2019, so for many it was their first PAP Days.
The PAP Days also included good food, cheerful spirits and positive buzz. The PAP Days were crowned with the "PAP of the Year" award. This year, the title is held by Mika, the PAP Service Manager, and Maija-Leena, the Project Manager. They have earned their titles through hard work and have shown that they are an important part of our PAP team. A round of applause for them! 👏
