Recessed mounting frame MX Light, white

Product description

The recessed mounting frame is intended for installing the MX Light emergency luminaire recessed into the ceiling. In flush mounting, the luminaire base remains above the ceiling, and only the low-profile frame and the luminaire lens remain visible. The solution suits sites where appearance matters, such as hotels and offices.

Installation

A Ø 120 mm opening is drilled in the ceiling. The frame fits ceiling panels 5–25 mm thick and is held in place by springs. The analogue base of the luminaire is fixed to the frame’s mounting plate with screws, after which the luminaire is fitted to the base in the normal way. The external diameter of the frame is 131.5 mm and the recess depth approx. 25 mm. The frame is white; the manufacturer also has a black version (920008).

Compatibility

The frame fits MX Light emergency luminaires, which are available with a corridor lens (Corridor), a round lens (Round) and a high-ceiling lens (High Ceiling), and with a rated duration of 1 or 3 hours. The recessed mounting frame is one of the accessories in the Emex MX series, which also include ball guards and a threaded rod plate.
