Product description
TU 25 ABSRED is Securiton’s red ABS sampling pipe for aspirating smoke detector pipe networks. The outer diameter is 25 mm and the length 3 m. The pipe is marked “FIRE ALARM AIR SAMPLING PIPE DO NOT CUT OR PAINT”. According to the pipe manufacturer’s datasheet, the pipe must not be bent or painted, and the clip spacing at 20 °C is no more than 1.0 m.
According to Securiton’s catalogue, the sampling pipe materials are part of the detector’s VdS approval, so the pipe network is built from parts approved and listed by Securiton. The ABS parts are red with an outer diameter of 25 mm and are bonded with Glue 250 ABS. The operating temperature of the ABS pipe system is −30…+60 °C.
