Product description
ASD 535-4 HD is an aspirating smoke detector in Securiton’s SecuriSmoke range for medium-sized and large monitoring areas. It has two sampling pipes and space for two SSD 535-3 CP smoke sensors, which are ordered separately. The measured smoke level is shown on the bar graph display on the cover. Airflow monitoring detects pipe blockages and breakages. The Heavy Duty model is designed for very dusty and dirty areas: the enclosure is rated IP66 and the circuit boards and sensors are coated. An OPB 911 CP overvoltage protection board can be added.
Commissioning and settings are done on the device (EasyConfig) or with the ASD Config software. The pipe network can be designed with ASD PipeFlow. The fan has five speed levels.
The four expansion slots can take RIM 35 relay modules (up to two), an SIM 35 network module, an XLM 35 loop module and an MCM 35 memory card module. In the two-pipe model each pipe has its own smoke sensor, so the pipe network in alarm can be identified.
