Product description

Panasonic 5054 is a display unit with a 10.1-inch capacitive colour touchscreen, connected to an EBL fire alarm control panel via an RS485 bus. The unit shows fire alarms and user-defined alarm texts and gives a logged-in user access to the panel’s key functions, such as acknowledging faults, disablements and the zone test.

The unit type is selected from the following:

• Information panel – display of alarms and system status
• Fire brigade panel – display and acknowledgement of alarms for the fire brigade
• Alert annunciation panel – acknowledgement and reset of the alert annunciation function
• General control panel – eight functions programmable in EBLWin, for example control of fans and fire dampers, evacuation or output control (EBL512 G3 v3.0 or later)

Installation and compatibility

The display unit is mounted on a wall or in the display unit metal housing 5055. Up to 30 display units can be connected to one system (addresses 00–29). The communication cable can be up to 1,200 m long, and both communication and the 24 V supply can be made redundant. The panel can supply up to four display units; additional supply can be provided with the external power supply 4466. The software version of the display unit must match the version of the panel, and the firmware is updated via the USB port. The unit is intended for dry indoor spaces.
