Product description

MX25 is an addressable LED exit sign with a viewing distance of 25 metres. This body is the model with a 3-hour rated duration (825300). The exit sign is lit continuously both in normal mode and during a power failure, and the whole pictogram is illuminated. The luminaire meets the requirements of EN 60598-2-22, EN 1838, EN 62034 and EN ISO 7010. It is intended for dry indoor spaces (IP41).

Operation

The luminaire is connected to the COM loop of the fire alarm system and receives its operating voltage from a separate 24 V supply line (MX Power Box). During a power failure, the luminaire operates on its internal NiMH battery (2.4 V, HHR-210AH). The luminaire performs an automatic function test every month and a full duration test at least once a year; the results are stored in a log that can be read in EBLWin, and a fault generates a technical warning at the control panel. The indicator light shows its status: green = normal, flashing green = commissioning test, red = LED fault, flashing red = battery fault or failed duration test.

Installation and parts to order

A complete exit sign requires the body, the mounting base 3312FLW or 3312W and a pictogram, which is available for different directions, single- or double-sided. For the red cross version there is a separate MX25 RX body (3 h: 825301), on whose sign panel the separately ordered MX25 Red X red cross panel (970020) is fitted. The base can be mounted on the ceiling or wall, and the luminaire is locked to the base with a hexagon socket screw. Accessories are the recessed mounting frame 920001, the ball guard 920009 and the threaded rod plate 920013. The address is set with the 4414 tool in NORMAL mode; EBL512 G3 requires software version 2.10 or later, and EBLOne requires version 3.3 or later.
