MX light threaded rod bracket (8 mm)

Product description

The threaded rod plate is a mounting accessory for MX series exit signs and emergency luminaires in spaces without a suspended ceiling, such as shops and halls. Using the plate and a threaded rod, the luminaire can be lowered from a high ceiling to a more visible height or mounted away from the wall at the required distance.

Installation

The analogue base (e.g. 3312FLW) is fixed to the threaded rod plate. The plate is attached to the lower end of a Ø 8 mm threaded rod. A second threaded rod plate is fitted to the upper end of the rod and used to fix the assembly to the ceiling or wall. The length of the threaded rod is chosen as required, and the rod is not included in the delivery. The MX luminaire is then fitted to the base as usual.

Compatibility

The threaded rod plate fits MX series luminaires that are fitted to the analogue base 3312FLW or 3312W: the MX25 and MX40 exit signs and the MX Light emergency luminaires. In a high space, the exit sign or emergency luminaire can thus be brought lower down. The plate is round and white, with a threaded fixing point for the rod in the centre.
