Product description
HEAT 4.5 ABS is Securiton’s heated sampling point set for ASD 535 aspirating smoke detector pipe networks in deep-freeze areas down to −30 °C. The set consists of an ABS T-piece, a heating resistor and a sampling opening pressed in from high-temperature resistant material. The heating prevents the sampling hole from freezing.
The 4.5 mm in the product name is the diameter used in the ASD PipeFlow calculation; the actual opening diameter is 6.7 mm. The set is colour-marked (black). The resistors are connected with SLW 0.5 silicone cable, and the supply is brought into the pipe network via the WCU 535 PC junction box.
