Product description
PL 253 P is Panasonic’s red 25 mm plastic sampling pipe for the Aspect aspirating smoke detector pipe network. The pack contains 13 pipes of 4 m each. According to the accessories list, the inner surface roughness Ra 1.6 reduces the build-up of dust and bacteria and supports the transport of smoke.
According to Panasonic’s technical description, plastic pipes can be used up to +60 °C, and in accordance with EN 54-20 and VdS the pipe parts must meet at least class 1131 of EN 61386-1. Joints are made with pre-sealed sockets and bends, and pipes are cut with the ELOCUT2 cutter.
