NiMH 3.6 V battery (Orion)

Product description

This NiMH battery pack is a replacement battery for Orion luminaires. The pack has a nominal voltage of 3.6 V and a capacity of 1.28 Ah. It consists of three BK-120AAH cells and comes with a connecting lead fitted, so the battery can be replaced directly at the connector.

According to Emex’s spare parts list, the battery is available in Finland only. The capacity of an emergency luminaire battery deteriorates over the years, which is why it is advisable to check the condition of the battery in a periodic duration test and to replace the battery if the luminaire no longer achieves the required rated duration.

Installation

Isolate the luminaire from the power supply, disconnect the old battery from its connector and connect the new one in its place. Once the new battery has charged, make sure that the luminaire operates on battery power for the required time. Before ordering, check the markings on the old battery to make sure that the voltage and capacity match those of the new battery.
