PAP Group’s actions for nature and the environment

Our measures include the following:

• We are a paperless office. We favour e-invoicing and do not print unnecessarily. If we have to print, we print double-sided.
• We reuse the packaging materials we receive.
• We give former employees’ devices to new employees.
• We would rather repair devices than buy new ones straight away.
• We aim to optimise travel and avoid unnecessary journeys, for example by doing several jobs in the same area when a vehicle is on the move.
• We make effective use of modern working tools, such as Teams for holding meetings. This way, everyone involved can join the meeting without travelling, saving time.
• We have no unnecessary premises. We favour remote working in roles where it is possible. This means no commuting emissions and no energy spent on running an office.
• Our vehicle fleet is modern and low-emission.

You can also influence climate change yourself through small actions. For example, it is enough to eat more vegetables and less meat, sort your waste and switch off the lights when you leave a room. Even small actions have a big impact when many people do the same. We are also continuously developing our operations and welcome ideas on how we could reduce the burden on nature even further. Finnish Nature Day has been celebrated on the last Saturday of August since 2013. It is the newest of the national days of celebration and was entered in the calendar in 2020. In 2023, Finnish Nature Day will become an official flag day. (Source: suomenluonnonpaiva.fi)
