Coated overvoltage protection that protects the ASD 535 aspirating smoke detector against lightning surges. Requires equipotential bonding.

## Product description

OPB 911 CP is Securiton’s coated overvoltage protection for the ASD 535 aspirating smoke detector. It protects the detector against atmospheric surges (lightning) in exposed areas. The protection is connected upstream of the AMB 35 main board terminals and requires a connection to equipotential bonding.

According to the datasheet, the electrical interfaces of the expansion modules (XLM, RIM, SIM) and AMB 35 terminals 21–26 are not protected. The delivery includes the circuit board, a retainer plate and an M20 cable gland. According to the catalogue, OPB 911 gives the ASD 535 HD models protection up to 8 kV.
