# Pulsar EN54C-2A7 fire alarm power supply 27.6 V / 2 A, for 2 × 7 Ah batteries

EN 54-4 compliant 27.6 V power supply for fire alarm and aspirating equipment. Continuous output current 1.6 A, space for two 7 Ah batteries. LED indicators, red steel enclosure.

## Product description

EN54C-2A7 is a power supply in Pulsar’s EN54C series for fire alarm system equipment, such as aspirating smoke detectors. It is tested to EN 54-4 and EN 12101-10 and holds CPR certificate 1438-CPR-0628 issued by CNBOP-PIB. The unit supplies 27.6 V DC to two fuse-protected outputs (AUX1 and AUX2) and charges the backup batteries. The continuous output current is 1.6 A and the short-term maximum 2 A (5 min). The enclosure holds two 7 Ah batteries.

The unit monitors the mains, battery and outputs. Mains failure (EPS, 10 s delay) and common fault (ALARM) are signalled by relays, and the enclosure has a tamper switch. Protection includes short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection, deep discharge protection and reverse polarity protection for the battery. The status is shown by LED indicators. The enclosure is red-painted sheet steel (RAL 3001) with a lock.
