# PAP MX Outdoor emergency luminaire

Addressable IP65 emergency luminaire for outdoor areas and cold spaces. The luminaire and the electronics unit are separate, so the luminaire can be installed in conditions down to −30 °C.

## Product description

MX Outdoor is an addressable emergency luminaire for outdoor areas and cold spaces such as cold stores, car parks and industrial premises. The luminaire switches on only during a power failure or emergency (non-maintained) and illuminates, for example, the area in front of an exit door. In normal mode it takes its power from the operating voltage line, and in emergency mode the internal battery provides a rated duration of 3 hours.

MX Outdoor always consists of two parts: a compact LED luminaire and a separate electronics unit, linked by a 2 metre fire-resistant cable. The luminaire can be installed in cold spaces down to −30 °C, whereas the electronics unit is installed indoors or in a space where the temperature is at least −20 °C. Both parts are IP65 rated. The control panel monitors the condition of the luminaire, and the device automatically performs function, battery and duration tests.

### Installation

The metal profile is fixed to the wall or ceiling at a height of 2–7.5 metres, and the luminaire is pressed into the profile at the required angle. The electronics unit is then installed and the luminaire cable connected. The COM loop and the 24 V operating voltage are connected to the electronics unit. The replacement battery is 910007.
