# Panasonic AU003 exhaust kit with flexible hoses

Exhaust kit for the Aspect detector with flexible hoses for THUB and VULCAN installations. Leads exhaust air away or back to the monitored room and reduces fan noise.

## Product description

AU003 is Panasonic’s exhaust kit for the Aspect aspirating smoke detector. It has flexible hoses and is intended for detectors installed on a THUB console with a VULCAN filter. The kit allows two exhaust pipes of up to 4 m to be connected to the detector. The exhaust air is led away from the detector, or back to the monitored room if there is a pressure difference between the rooms.

According to Panasonic’s technical description, at least 0.5 m of exhaust pipe is used in dusty areas and freezer rooms. The kit also reduces fan noise by 5–10 dB. The length of the exhaust pipes is included in the total pipe length.
