# Panasonic 5088 gateway

Gateway for connecting a Panasonic EBL fire alarm system to a local network or the internet. The system status can be monitored and controlled with a web browser, and the data can be passed on to other systems.

## Product description

Panasonic 5088 Gateway is a gateway for connecting a single EBL fire alarm control panel or a networked EBL512 G3 system to a local network, the internet, a security system or other information systems. The device is installed inside the panel on a 35 mm DIN rail and is powered with 24 V from the panel.

With the EBLWeb software, the panel status can be monitored in a web browser on a computer, and the system can be controlled remotely via a two-way connection. There can be ten users and three access levels. The browser connection can be secured with HTTPS encryption. The gateway can send emails about preselected events such as alert annunciation, fire alarm, fault, disablement, technical warning and service signal. Links, for example to floor plans or cameras, can be attached to alarm points.

### Installation

The device has two Ethernet ports (RJ-45), an RS232 port for the panel and an isolated RS485/RS232 port for an external system. Configuration and software download are done with EBLWin over a TCP/IP connection. Up to five gateways can be added to a system, one per panel.
