# Panasonic 5055 metal housing for display unit

Lockable metal housing for installing the Panasonic 5054 display unit. Used as a fire brigade panel and in public areas where the display unit must be protected from unauthorised use.

## Product description

Panasonic 5055 is a metal housing in which the 5054 display unit is installed. The housing is lockable, so a key is required to use the display unit. This makes the display unit suitable for use as a fire brigade panel or in public areas where the device must be protected from unauthorised use.

The housing uses the same key type as the EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel, so the same key opens both the control panel and the display unit housing. The key is also available separately under product number 1569 (FBP key).

### Models

-   5055: metal housing for the display unit
-   5055-NL: as 5055, but without an opening in the acrylic cover. The model suits sites where access to the “Alarms Queued” button is not needed while the housing is closed.

### Installation

The external dimensions of the housing are 410 × 290 × 128 mm and it weighs approximately 5 kg. It is intended for indoor use: the operating temperature is −5…+40 °C and relative humidity below 90%. The 5054 display unit is not included with the housing and is ordered separately.
