# Panasonic 5039 EBL512 G3 temperature sensor

Battery temperature sensor for the Panasonic EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel. With the sensor, the panel adjusts the charging voltage of the standby batteries according to battery temperature.

## Product description

Panasonic 5039 is the battery temperature sensor of the EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel. The main board of the control panel handles the charging of the standby batteries, and the charging voltage is adjusted on the basis of the temperature measured by the sensor: the charging voltage is 27.3 ± 0.1 V at 20 °C, but varies with battery temperature within 27.3 ± 0.7 V.

The sensor is located in the metal housing of the control panel next to the battery rack and is connected to connector J18 on the main board. The product is intended as a spare part.

### Compatibility

The sensor is intended for EBL512 G3 control panels 5000 and 5001. The standby power of the control panel is provided by two 12 V sealed lead-acid batteries (17–65 Ah), and the maximum operating temperature of the batteries during charging is 50 °C.
