Main board for Panasonic EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panels 5000S and 5001S. The board controls the panel, and the COM loops, programmable outputs and inputs, transmission equipment, network boards and batteries are connected to it.

## Product description

Panasonic 5012 is the main board of the EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel, used in the 5000S series control panels (5000S, 5000SPRT and 5001S). The board is a key part of the control panel: the COM loops, programmable outputs and inputs, transmission equipment, display units, network boards, power supply and batteries are connected to it. The board is intended as a spare part.

### Connections

-   four COM loops (0–3) with 5017 COM loop boards, loop voltage 25.0 V ± 1.5 V and loop current max. 350 mA
-   built-in short-circuit isolators for the A and B directions of the loop
-   four monitored 24 V DC outputs S0–S3 (max. 0.5 A) and two relay outputs R0–R1 (2 A / 30 V DC)
-   four programmable inputs I0–I3, supervised or unsupervised
-   relay outputs with changeover contacts for fire transmission and fault transmission
-   RS485 and 24 V supply for display units, also redundant
-   USB connection for EBLWin and RS232 for a web server or gateway
-   slots for 5040 network boards or 5090 TLON interface boards and for expansion boards
-   connection for the 5039 battery temperature sensor

The power supply and batteries are connected to the main board, which also handles battery charging. The charging current is max. 2.4 A.

### Replacement

After the main board has been replaced, the software is loaded if necessary, the number of alarm points is updated, the SSD programming is loaded and the outputs are calibrated. In a TLON network, an update is also carried out with TLON Manager, and in an EBL Ring network the serial number of the main board is updated in the network settings.
