The panel is intended for distributed systems in which it is operated over the network from a panel with a display. - 4 COM loops, up to 1,012 addresses and 512 alarm points - No front panel or display – operated over the network from a 5000 panel - Up to 30 panels in the network, copper or fibre link - Up to 128 short-circuit isolators per loop - Space for internal batteries 2 × 12 V, 17–28 Ah - EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 ## Product description Panasonic EBL512 G3 5001 is an intelligent, analogue addressable fire alarm control panel without a front panel, display or door. The panel without display is used in distributed systems in those parts of the building where local operation of the panel is not needed. It does not operate stand-alone but is connected via the network to a system that has at least one EBL512 G3 5000 panel with a display. The panel has four COM loops, each of which can take up to 253 loop devices. The panel can be configured for 128, 256 or 512 alarm points, and a total of 1,012 addresses are available. The loop current is up to 350 mA, and each loop can be extended with four sub-loops using the COM loop repeater 4585. There can be up to 128 short-circuit isolators per loop. The panel also has four programmable monitored voltage outputs, two programmable relay outputs, four programmable inputs and relay outputs for fire and fault transmission. ### Network and installation The panels are connected to each other with the network board 5040 (EBL Ring network) or the TLON communication board 5090. Up to 30 panels can be connected to the same network, and the network can be implemented as a redundant copper or fibre cable network. The panel is wall-mounted; mounting plates are also available for a 19-inch rack (5020) and for a combustible surface (5021). Two 12 V 17–28 Ah batteries fit inside the panel; larger batteries (up to 65 Ah) are placed outside the panel. Batteries are not included in the delivery.
