# Panasonic 5000SPFI EBL512 G3, 4 loops, 512 alarm points

Addressable EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel with four COM loops and up to 512 alarm points. The panel includes a fire brigade panel and can be connected to a network of panels.

## Product description

Panasonic EBL512 G3 5000 is an addressable fire alarm control panel to which alarm points and other loop devices are connected via four COM loops. The panel shows fire alarms and faults on the fire brigade panel and on a graphical display, and it is operated from the keypad of the operating panel. The panel meets EN 54-2 and EN 54-4.

### Capacity and connections

A total of 1,012 COM loop units (addresses) can be connected to the panel, of which up to 512 can be alarm points; the remaining addresses are available, for example, for alarm devices, I/O units and emergency and escape route luminaires. Each COM loop can take 253 addresses, and up to 128 short-circuit isolators can be connected to a loop. Each COM loop can have up to four sub-loops. The main board has four programmable, monitored 24 V voltage outputs (S0–S3), two programmable relay outputs (R0–R1), four programmable inputs (I0–I3) and changeover contact outputs for fire and fault transmission.

### Network and commissioning

Several panels are connected to each other with the network board 5040 (EBL ring network, up to 30 panels, copper RS-422 or fibre) or with the TLON interface board 5090. Programming is done with the EBLWin software via the panel’s USB port, and a web server or gateway can be connected to the RS-232 port.

### Installation

The panel is intended for dry indoor spaces (−5…+40 °C, IP30). Standby power is provided by two 12 V VRLA batteries (17–65 Ah); batteries over 28 Ah are placed outside the panel with a cable of no more than 2 metres. The cabinet can be mounted on a wall or in a 19" rack with the mounting plate 5020.
