## Product description

Panasonic 4583 is an expansion board installed in the EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel that adds inputs and outputs to the panel. It is suitable for sites where a lot of information from other systems needs to be brought into the panel, such as fault signals from external equipment or technical events.

The board has five programmable inputs, two programmable voltage outputs (200 mA) and one monitored programmable output. The monitored output can be used, for example, to control conventional alarm devices such as sounders. The operation of the inputs and outputs is defined in the panel programming, so the board is easy to adapt to the needs of each site.

### Installation and compatibility

The board is installed in an EBL512 G3 panel (5000S or 5001S) and connected with the expansion board cable 5089. The board is covered by the panel’s EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 approvals. The board measures 120 × 110 × 20 mm and weighs 70 g, and it is intended for use at temperatures of −5…+40 °C and a relative humidity of up to 95%.
