## Product description

Panasonic 4581 is a relay expansion board installed in the EBL512 G3 fire alarm control panel. It provides additional relay controls for the building’s other systems when the panel’s own outputs are not sufficient or there are many items to control.

The board has eight relay outputs with a contact rating of 2 A / 30 V DC. The outputs are typically used for interfacing with the voice alarm system and for controlling fans, fire and smoke dampers and other technical equipment. The operation of the outputs is programmed with the panel’s control expressions, so the same board can be used for very different control needs depending on the site.

### Installation and compatibility

The board is installed in an EBL512 G3 panel (5000S or 5001S) and connected with the expansion board cable 5089. The board is covered by the panel’s EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 approvals. The board measures 120 × 110 × 20 mm and weighs 80 g, and it is intended for use at temperatures of −5…+40 °C and a relative humidity of up to 95%.
