# Panasonic 4467 charger board for power supply 4466

Product code 41274

Charger board for the Panasonic addressable external power supply 4466. The board charges the standby batteries, distributes 24 V DC to two outputs and connects the power supply to the COM loop for monitoring.

- Spare part for external power supply 4466
- Two 24 V DC outputs, each max. 2.0 A
- Battery charging in two modes: up to 12 Ah or 42 Ah
- COM loop connection for monitoring the power supply
- Slots for two expansion boards (4464 or 4585)
- Own current consumption 10.6 ± 2 mA (24 V)

## Product description

Panasonic 4467 is the charger board of the external power supply 4466. In the 4466 power supply, a switched-mode power supply acts as the main energy source and the charger board takes care of charging the standby batteries, the 24 V DC outputs and the connection to the COM loop, via which the fire alarm control panel monitors the power supply. The board is intended as a spare part for the 4466 power supply.

As standard, the board has two 24 V DC outputs (OUT0 and OUT1), each max. 2.0 A and with its own 2 A fuse. The maximum continuous total load is 3.0 A in low-current charging mode (batteries up to 12 Ah) and 1.5 A in high-current charging mode (batteries up to 42 Ah); the mode is selected with jumper JP1 on the board. During a fire alarm, the total output current can be 4 A. Charging takes place in two stages: first at constant current and then at temperature-compensated constant voltage.

### Connections

- J1: batteries (2 × 12 V)
- J2: COM loop
- J3: external equipment (24 V outputs)
- J5 and J6: expansion boards 4464 or 4585
- fuses F1–F4 (T5AH and T2AH, 5 × 20 mm)

### Installation

One or two expansion boards 4464 or 4585 can be fitted on the board; in that case the corresponding output on connector J3 must not be used. Disconnect the power by removing fuses F1 and F2 before moving jumper JP1. Installation and commissioning are carried out in accordance with the technical description of the 4466 power supply.
