Analogue addressable multi-sensor detector with an optical smoke detector and a heat detector in the same low-profile housing. AI-based fire decision and a learning function reduce false alarms.

## Product description

Panasonic 4400W is a white analogue addressable multi-sensor detector with an optical smoke detector and a thermistor-based heat detector in the same low-profile housing. Thanks to heat detection, the detector also detects alcohol fires (EN 54-9, test fire TF6), which an optical smoke detector alone does not normally detect. The detector is intended for dry indoor premises.

In Advanced mode, the fire decision is made in the detector using artificial intelligence, combining smoke density, a fixed temperature threshold (57 °C) and the rate of temperature rise. This helps reduce false alarms caused by, for example, artificial smoke or oil mist. There are five room algorithms: normal, smoke/steam, clean, heater and cooking/welding. The learning function monitors local conditions for about a month and switches to a more suitable algorithm if needed, or the algorithm is set manually in EBLWin. The detector compensates for contamination and gives a service signal when it needs to be replaced. Smoke detection can be temporarily disabled either manually or by a time channel, while heat detection remains in operation.

-   Address 001–253 is set with tool 4414 or 4414E before connection to the loop
-   Advanced mode: EBL512 G3 and EBL128 V ≥ 2.0, EBLOne V ≥ 3.3; NORMAL mode EBL512 G3 and EBL128
