## Product description

Panasonic 3000-204 is an anti-condensation heater available as an accessory for the Fireray 3000 beam detector. The Fireray 3000 is an end-to-end infrared beam detector in which the transmitter sends an infrared beam to a separate receiver. When smoke attenuates the beam below the set threshold, the detector gives a fire alarm. The system protects large and high spaces at distances of 5–120 metres and is approved to EN 54-12.

Because the detector is based on an optical beam, the lenses of the transmitter and receiver must stay clear. In spaces where temperature and humidity vary, such as cold halls, warehouses and loading areas, moisture can condense on the lenses. The heater prevents condensation, and it is installed in the Fireray 3000 transmitter or receiver. The Fireray 3000 system has a controller with an LCD display, laser alignment and separate fire and fault relays; the transmitter and receiver measure 77 × 78 × 161 mm.
