# Panasonic 1040-000 single reflector prism adjustment bracket

Adjustment bracket for one Fireray reflector prism. Used with reflective beam detectors when the reflector must be aimed towards the detector.

## Product description

Panasonic 1040-000 (Fireray Prism Adjustment Bracket) is an adjustment bracket for a single reflector prism. In a reflective beam detector, the detector transmits an infrared beam to a reflector, which returns it to the detector; smoke attenuates the beam and causes an alarm. The reflector must be sufficiently perpendicular to the detector: according to the Fireray One and Fireray Hub Reflective datasheets, the maximum permitted angular deviation of the reflector is ±5°.

The adjustment bracket allows the prism to be mounted on a surface that is not perpendicular to the beam and turned to the correct position. The bracket includes a prism plate and provides 360° rotation and 160° adjustment. The bracket is intended for a single prism (100 × 100 × 9 mm), which is used for distances of up to 50 metres. The long range kit of four prisms has its own bracket, 1050-000.

The prism is ordered separately. The measuring distance of the Fireray One detector is 5–50 m, and 50–120 m with the long range kit.
