Transparent polycarbonate ball guard for the MX40 exit sign. It protects the luminaire from ball impacts in sports halls, gyms and stadiums, for example.

## Product description

The ball guard is a protective enclosure for the MX40 exit sign in spaces where the luminaire may be hit by a ball or another object, such as sports halls, gyms and stadiums. The guard is made of durable, transparent polycarbonate, so the sign panel is visible through it.

The guard is a U-shaped sheet with fixing holes in its side flanges. It is mounted on the wall over the luminaire so that the luminaire is enclosed inside the guard. The dimensions of 425 × 425 × 100 mm are designed for the MX40 luminaire; the smaller MX25 luminaire has its own ball guard, 280 × 280 × 100 mm (920009).

### Compatibility

The guard is dimensioned for the MX40 exit sign, which measures 102 × 411 × 300 mm (H × W × D) and has a viewing distance of 40 m. The luminaire is fitted to the analogue base 3312FLW or 3312W in the usual way, and the guard is fixed to the wall around the luminaire. In Emex’s product catalogue, the ball guards have the product numbers 920009 (MX25) and 920010 (MX40).
