# NiMH 6.0 V battery (Multipap and PAP Ceramic)

## Product description

This NiMH battery pack is a replacement battery for Multipap and PAP Ceramic emergency luminaires. The pack has a nominal voltage of 6.0 V and a capacity of 0.7 Ah. It is assembled from HHR-70AAA cells and comes with a connecting lead already fitted, so the battery can be replaced directly at the connector.

According to Emex’s spare parts list, the battery is available in Finland only. The capacity of an emergency luminaire battery declines over the years, which is why the condition of the battery should be checked in the periodic duration test and the battery replaced if the luminaire no longer achieves the required rated duration.

### Installation

Disconnect the luminaire from the power supply, detach the old battery from its connector and connect the new one in its place. Once the new battery has charged, make sure that the luminaire operates on emergency power for the required time. Before ordering, check the markings on the old battery to make sure that its voltage and capacity match those of the new battery.
