# MX40 sign panel 4 mm, E4 up

Product code 970011

Single-sided escape route sign panel (pictogram E4, direction up) for the MX40 exit sign. The panel slides into the mounting profile of the luminaire and is locked with a screw.

## Product description

This Emex MX40 sign panel is an escape route sign with a running figure and an arrow pointing up (manufacturer’s designation E4). The panel is single-sided, i.e. the sign is visible in one direction. If the sign needs to be visible from both sides, the double-sided E4/E4 panel (970017) is chosen.

The MX40 luminaire body and the pictogram are ordered separately, so the direction that suits the site can be chosen for the same body. According to the manufacturer, the pictograms of the MX luminaires meet the requirements of EN 1838: the luminance of the green area is at least 2 cd/m², the contrast between white and green is 1:5–1:15 and the contrast within the same colour is less than 1:10. The panel height of 200 mm allows a viewing distance of 40 metres.

### Installation

The panel is slid into the mounting profile of the MX40 body until it clicks into place and is locked with a screw. The panel is then turned to the correct position. The panel fits both MX40 and MX40 RX bodies; on the RX model, the red cross panel (970021) is fitted on top of the panel.
