# Connector board 2 (additional connector for manual call points)

Connection board (Emex Connector board 2) used to continue the MX emergency lighting operating voltage line at manual call point 4433 in the same cabling as the COM loop.

## Product description

Connector board 2 is a connection board from Emex for MX series exit and emergency lighting. In addition to the COM loop, MX luminaires require a separate 24 V operating voltage line (E+ and E−), supplied for example by the MX Power Box. When the luminaires and other loop devices are cabled along the same route, the operating voltage must also be continued at those devices that have no terminals of their own for it.

With connection board 2, the operating voltage line is continued at a manual call point. According to the manufacturer’s product catalogue, the board is intended for Panasonic manual call point 4433. The board is part of a series of three connection boards:

-   Connector board 1 (921001): detector bases
-   Connector board 2 (921002): manual call points (4433)
-   Connector board 3 (921003): I/O units and sounders (4487, 4482, 4461, 4462)

MX luminaires are fitted to the analogue base 3312FLW or 3312W, to which both the COM loop (SA and SB) and the operating voltage (E+ and E−) are connected. The manufacturer recommends a maximum of 35–40 luminaires per operating voltage line.
