# Ambient System ABT-ISLE audio and RS485 splitter

Product code ABT-ISLE

Interface module that splits the four-channel RJ45 audio output of the central unit to four amplifier inputs and connects the voice alarm system to other systems over an RS485 bus. DIN rail mounting. EN 54-16.

## Product description

ABT-ISLE is an interface and distribution module from Ambient System. Its RS485 connection is used to connect the voice alarm system to other systems and devices. In addition, the module splits the four analogue channels of the central unit’s RJ45 audio output to four RJ45 connectors, each of which feeds one channel to an amplifier input.

Local audio sources can be connected to an 8-pole Phoenix screw terminal (LOCAL AUDIO IN), which is wired directly to the RJ45 connector LOCAL AUDIO OUT. A separate RJ45 connector (PSM) is provided for connecting the power management unit.

Each module has its own address, which is set with an address switch (16 addresses, 0–F). The first module in the chain has the address 0. The enclosure is mounted on a TH 35 DIN rail.
