# Fire safety documentation

Information about a property’s fire safety systems and their maintenance builds up over time and is needed in day-to-day operations, in maintenance and for future changes. PAP’s TIETO Tallelokero document vault brings fire safety documents together in one digital service.

You can view the site’s information online and on mobile devices. You can also order maintenance and servicing for the systems through the service.

## What is stored in TIETO Tallelokero?

TIETO Tallelokero brings together the property’s key fire safety documents. The material includes, for example, maintenance reports, maintenance data, plans and system documents. At the start of the service, the property’s documents and the material to be stored in the service are reviewed.

The service brings together, for example, information on the fire alarm system, escape lighting, voice alarm system, smoke ventilation and fire suppression systems in one place. Finding them no longer depends on separate folders or individual people.

## Getting started with the service

### Compiling the documents

PAP compiles the property’s fire safety documents and stores them in the service. At the start, the existing material is reviewed and any missing information is identified.

### User accounts and induction

The service is used with personal user credentials through a separate portal. The site’s information can also be accessed using an NFC tag. TIETO Tallelokero includes user training covering how to find information and use the service.

### Use in day-to-day property operations

You can view documents online or on mobile devices and order maintenance and servicing based on them. The service is built on the Finnish IDR information management system.

## Who is the documentation service for?

TIETO Tallelokero serves, for example, property owners, property managers and the person responsible for maintenance. It helps in situations where an overall view of the property’s fire safety documents is needed or where information has to be gathered from different sources.

A single shared place for information also makes it easier to handle changes in responsibilities and staff: the site’s information is not tied to who has previously been in charge of it.

## How is the information kept up to date?

At the start, we go through who adds new documents, how changed information is delivered to the service and who has access to the material. This makes responsibilities for updating information clear from the outset.

New maintenance reports and updated plans add to the material while the property is in use. Up-to-date documentation supports both maintenance and future system changes.

## Site information at hand on site

When you need a maintenance report or system information, you will find the documents stored in the service in TIETO Tallelokero. You can also use the service on your mobile device when you are at the property.
