# PAP Group’s first electric van has arrived

PAP Group’s service team in the Helsinki metropolitan area is the first to put a new electrically powered van on the road.

The growing number of electric vehicles on the roads is a significant step towards a more sustainable future. PAP Group Oy has introduced its first electrically powered van for its service team in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The Renault Kangoo is spacious for a small van and ideal for service driving in urban areas. Fast charging and several driver assistance systems improve the user experience.

For our part, we want to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions caused by driving by replacing our vehicles with lower-emission ones where this is sensible and feasible in terms of distances, taking into account the coverage of the charging network. We also aim to reduce unnecessary environmental impact by planning our driving routes and our work so that no unnecessary emissions or kilometres are generated.

Introducing an electric van offers many benefits, such as lower running costs and zero-exhaust driving. In addition, electric vehicles are generally quieter and require less maintenance than conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. Introducing electric vehicles benefits not only the environment but also the company’s finances in the long term.
