# PAP Days 2022

**PAP Days have already become a traditional early-summer event, where all PAP people from around Finland gather at the same venue to hear the company’s news and recharge.**

This year, PAP Days were held in the delightfully rustic setting of Billnäs Ironworks in Raasepori. The owner told us that Billnäs Ironworks is one of the first ironworks in Finland and began operating in 1641. Today, Billnäs Ironworks offers accommodation and restaurant services as well as an inspiring setting for all kinds of events, meetings and celebrations.

As is tradition, PAP Days included presentations on what is happening in the company: where we have succeeded in recent years, what we expect from the future and how we can make our operations even more efficient and better. The presentations and group work sparked good discussion. After a break of a few years, conversation flowed easily among seasoned veterans and new employees alike. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, PAP Days were last held in 2019, so for many this was their first PAP Days.

PAP Days also included good food, high spirits and a positive buzz. PAP Days were crowned by the announcement of the *“PAP of the Year”*. This year, the title goes to Mika, service manager for the Helsinki metropolitan area, and Maija-Leena, project manager. They have earned their titles through hard work and have shown that they are an important part of our PAP team. A round of applause for them! 👏
